My start wasn&#39;t very good. But by the time we got into the dirt part I pushed hard and started to make up for the rocky start. I pushed through the pain and focused on the girls ahead of me. I saw 3 d-hill girls ahead of me and made it my goal to pass all 3 of them and beat them. I passed all 3 at one point but one beat me at the end. I was only about a second behind her. My goal for this race was a sub 23. I got 23:02!! Ugh soo close. But I&#39;m still happy with how close I was. I know I can get those 3 seconds shaved off and hopefully a whole minute by region. I started before the girls so Anna could get her minutes in before dance. The girls caught up to me at the light at hearts. And I ran with them until I turned back with Caleb. Jenna caught up to us at the Walmart light and I ran with her stopping st hearts for water and then going the rests of the way. I was aiming for a sub 25 and I got it. I&#39;m really happy that I stayed with Ashlee, and she was able to push me through the race. I started off at what I thought was a good pace, but turned out being too fast as I died off half way through the 4 minutes. After that I backed off a little bit, and did my 1:30&#39;s on pace. Then I did my 2:15 on pace too. I finished the work out with a nice solid cool down.
