Did a 30 minute warm up and a 20 minute cool down.
As for my race, it was fantastic. My start wasn't very good. But by the time we got into the dirt part I pushed hard and started to make up for the rocky start. I pushed through the pain and focused on the girls ahead of me. I saw 3 d-hill girls ahead of me and made it my goal to pass all 3 of them and beat them. I passed all 3 at one point but one beat me at the end. I was only about a second behind her. My goal for this race was a sub 23. I got 23:02!! Ugh soo close. But I'm still happy with how close I was. I know I can get those 3 seconds shaved off and hopefully a whole minute by region. Very happy with myself and excited to see what other great things I can do. And what my team can do.
